Question of the week in Zendesk: Changing the type of load controlled by Luzen PDF Print E-mail

Is it possible to change the type of load in an installation controlled by Luzen One?

This week we have received a question from Spain asking about the possibility of changing the type of load in installations controlled by a Luzen One.

The answer is that, as long as we do not mix inductive loads with capacitive loads (for example halogen lamps with electronic transformer with halogen lamps with magnetic tranformer), the type of load connected to the Luzen can be perfectly changed because the Luzen has load auto-detection.

However, we do not have to forget that the load, either resistive, capacitive or inductive, must comply the specifications about maximum and minimum loading for a correct working:

Maximum Channel Loading: 400 W

Minimum Load Rating: 50 W

Be careful, low-energy loads cannot be connected to the Luzen. Don´t remove a resistive load and plug a low-energy load instead.
