Display 2 bytes floating point values on the Z38 touch screen.
We were asked from Spain if it would be possible to display a temperature value measured by an external temperature probe. Yes, you can do it. You have to enable any free configuration box in Home 1 or Home 2 with the option “Floating Point Indicator”. Once you set up a box with this configuration, you have to choose between: 1) Temperature (ºC) 2) Wind Speed (m/s) 3) Luminosity (lux) 4) Other (no symbol)
These options fit very well with a weather station, or just to show values measured in your installation, for example the temperature from one specific point. Note: The temperature by default displayed on the Z38 is 25ºC. If this value remains for a long time in the screen and it doesn´t change, something could be wrong, for example: 1) The group addresses are not well done. 2) The temperature probe is sending nothing to the bus. |
