¿How are the inputs connected to outputs in ACTinBOX Classic? Internal links.
For connecting an input to an output in ACTinBOX Classic it is necessary to enable the internal links. When configuring the input, we could enable the internal links as well as choosing the desired output and selecting, by means of a drop-down menu, the function we want it to carry out. Once the configuration is done, the input will be linked to the output and it will not be necessary to create a group address and link its communication objects.
In case of switching light points from different devices such as push button connected to an actuator and a touch panel, it would be necessary creating a group address to link the output status communication object of the actuator where the light is connected to the input communication object where the puss button is connected and the touch panel indicator, since they need to know the light status in order to switch it when the push button is pressed or the light status changed from the touch panel. If you want to know more about switching light points visit the Documentation Area.
