How many devices can we connect to ZPS160M?

This week we have received a ticket in Zendesk with a question about the number of knx devices that can be connected to our power supply ZPS160.

In the ZPS10M Datasheet you can read that the number of knx devices that can be connected to the power supply is 16. This is a rough number.

For determining how many devices of you installation you can connect to the same power supply you have to take into account that the current generated by the ZPS160M is around 160 mA (200 mA more or less). We recommend you to look for the devices consumption in their datasheets and adding them up you will know if the total consumption exceeds 160mA.

In case that the total consumption of the devices you want to connect to the power supply exceeds the current it is able to generate, a second power supply can be connected in parallel if the line length between the power supplies is at least 200 meters on the BUS side.
